Happy Day will put you in the right mood to start your day happy! This is another heirloom recipes from Grandma. Try it yourself: Have a cup of "Happy day" tea before breakfast or when you feel down and exhausted during the day.
Here is what research suggests:
Cinnamon is calmative and lifts up your spirits. Hibiscus helps to balance mood, Muira Puama relieves depression, enhances memory, and reduces fatigue. St. John's Wort helps treating mild to moderate depression and anxiety. Yerba Mate boosts energy and eases depression.
Suggested use: 1 tsp per cup. Pour over boiling water and let steep for 3 to 5 minutes.
